A top data center solutions provider, Continent 8 Technologies, has been awarded a five-year agreement by the Gibraltar Government. This deal strengthens Continent 8’s role as a reliable provider, having supported Gibraltar since 2011. The new agreement prolongs their data center and hosting offerings until 2027.
Continent 8’s Gibraltar data center, situated within a former Ministry of Defence site deep inside the Rock of Gibraltar, provides unmatched protection and a wide array of services. These encompass colocation, public and private cloud offerings, making them the preferred infrastructure provider for both domestic and global companies.
David Black, EMEA Managing Director at Continent 8 Technologies, conveyed his satisfaction in securing this competitive tender, emphasizing the confidence placed in them by the Gibraltar Government. He stressed the data center’s distinctive site and their comprehensive set of solutions as key advantages.
While functioning globally with over 85 interconnected sites, Continent 8 maintains its dedication to providing customized solutions for each market. This client-focused strategy is crucial to their ambitious global growth strategies.
This announcement follows another notable development for Continent 8 Technologies. Previously this month, the firm designated Kristian Valenta as their new Chief Financial Officer, further bolstering their executive team.
